Yeah he took Neres' spot...Neres has since been stuck on 7 caps to Evertons 14.

Don't see how he is going to dramatically change us. We need a world class right back, centre back with size and pace, and someone to replace Gana. Once we have those then we can see who else we can get as an upgrade to the wingers and forwards we have.

Wouldn't it make more sense to happen now? I think Brazil season is done right now, he would be more apt to move when the season is done than in the middle of it, no?

Even beyond that, they only have state leagues and Libertadores until May. The big clubs like Gremio don't really tend to care all that much about state league (if you do, your top players are going from January through November in multiple competitions that play midweek games), and in their case this is especially so because they only really have one rival anywhere near their level in their state.
Libertadores doesn't start until March and they should be able to advance out of their group without suffering too much, so getting a big chunk of cash right now with 2-4 months to break in their reinforcements for when competitions start to get difficult is really good timing for them. If they sold in July or August, they'd be breaking in guys right when they're at their most difficult point in the year.
