Everton players on loan 2018/19

Number 51 looks exciting.

Yes Verschaeren, only 17 was the best man on the pitch. Faded a bit towards the end. Endemic for this Anderlecht side, then Rutted started with a still clearly not fully fit Dimata (mind you unfit he's still vastly superior to Santinin).

They should have never sacked the coach, he wasn't the problem. The guy who bought all these horrible players is (luckily he's fired). The centre-back pairing is brilliantly horrible to watch: Kara with a broken knee (who I thought was gone after being loaned to Nantes with an option, but then he started a fight with his coach or something so he came back) and the English Welsh international. And off course quite a bit of injuries. What a horrible season.

The clapping for the misplaced passes was on point though, as was the booing. A silver lining: if they don't make play-off one (for the first time in history); all supporters get a substantial refund on their season ticket.

So how useless was he today?

Very average. I'd say my personal highlight was when he tried to get the crowd going. One good cross, and maybe could have gotten one goal with a bit of luck. Towards the end of the game he was very tired. His direct opponent was a 37 year old ffs.

Yeh I was bored earlier so decided to find the game online. Bolasie was awful, Kara is awful, quite a few are awful to be fair. Thought maybe their captain should have been sent off towards the end for screaming in the refs face at his booking. I thought Cocu/De Boer was lined up to take over? I wanted to see that Amuzu or Doku playing.

Most of the other good ones are injured, or returning from injury. Only good players between the lines are: keeper, Najar, Dimata (but he's not fit) and maybe the Austrian player of the year Zulj (can't judge him tbf, he's only played three games).

It's truly awful. Rutte is on a contract until the end of the season; then there will be a new manager because at present no decent manager wants this poisonous chalice. Like Everton there's also loads of deadwood to shift, Arnesen will have his work cut out for him selling players that don't want to leave/and or that nobody wants.

If you want to see decent Belgian football: Genk (for obvious reasons; e.g Berge: Everton could really use a player like him), Club Brugge (a bit in a slump, they are playing well but they have Wesley who has difficulties scoring a goal. And their goal scoring wingers are still injured. Including Danjuma), Standard (very hit and miss; they can literally beat every team -even teams like Sevilla, but then lose to a horrible team; they now also have Halilovic), and Gent (even though they are losing atm; probably still celebrating from getting to the Cup final).

Could be that we go with Kenny and Holgate as right backs next season as we really need to strengthen so many other positions...gets Colemans wages off the books too.

Championship
Ipswich Town - Matthew Pennington played full match in 0-3 away defeat to Norwich City

OS Match Report
"Matt Pennington’s diving header stopped Pukki getting in on goal"
"Pennington just doing enough to deflect Stiepermann’s pass back to Bart Bialkowski as Pukki looked to be in."
"Pennington did well to stop Pukki eight yards out as Norwich looked for second straight after the restart"
"but seconds later Norwich extended their lead, Pennington lost possession and Pukki did the rest with his left foot."

Twitter stuff
41' Norwich try to release Pukki with a through ball but Pennington does very well to cut out the effort & Bialkowski gathers. [1-0]
