Been saying since the opening game that jags over jonny is a joke, we can all see that now, but it is pointless, jags was even worse last since in the opening games and moiyes will not drop him, we will then probably lose jonny in january, how can a manager do so many good things at a club but still make so many obvious mistakes, utterly infuriating, the bantering ginger ballbag

Benching Jags for Heitenga is not the answer.

If DM won't play him over Jags/Distin than I suggest slotting him in that holding role where Captain Phil utterly failed at.

Watch the game again mate. Look at how many mistakes he actually makes, and how useful he was attacking.

The chance should have never came is my point. Osman and Jags are at fault for that goal.. That's my opinion..

The second goal was Howard being stupid.. "and poor marking"

i think even though we lost the ball in the middle they had an awful lot to do so i think JAGS / Howard decision making was poor so should shoulder the blame and again for the second with this time DISTIN been in the mix again ,the 3 of them did themselves no favours

True.. It's a team game but if I didn't know any better I would advocate tarring and feathering Howard after reading some of these comments..

I am a yank, but that don't mean I won't bash Howard.. Everton come first for me.

Howards job as a keeper is to keep the ball out of the net, it doesn't matter what's lead to the attacker getting into a position to shoot, it's his job to then keep the resulting shot out of the net.

Last night he made a dogs arse of it, there can be no defence of that fact, he had a ****ter. It doesn't make him useless per se, it just means that last night he has to take a large slice of the blame for us not bagging 3 points.

i wont lie im not gonna watch the game again, and it wouldnt change my mind, i dont rate jags, hes an example of the sort of CH that is preffered only in this country and one of the reasons we are ehind other countries when it comes to ball retension amongst other things, people also wanna talk about height, Jonny marked crouch and thoses two monsters for the magpies with ease, cannavaro was 5 ft 9, theres far more to being a ch than size, we are a better team with jonny than jags and our player of the year has been treated dreadfully, if i was him id be tweeting into the ight about what a bell moyes is.

Height isn't a valid criticism of Heitinga if you're comparing him with Jags. There's one inch of difference.

Really impressed by Mirallas' performance. He drifted out of the game in the second half but showed us exactly what we've been lacking under Moyes in the first half. That wing forward who can dribble, give us a threat in behind and obviously, a goal threat. He wasn't scared to pull the trigger and had a glide about him whenever he got on the ball. I was hoping to see him swap wings with Pienaar a bit more during the game but I'm sure that is something Moyes will look at the more he gets used to him.

I'm well aware of job duties.. That said, Ossie losing possession and Jags marking on Ba can't be over-looked, as it has been.

And it's Jags/Distin's role to never let what happened in the 89th minute happen.

He was poor, no doubt. But this is still a team game. When you have strikers in behind your defense after one long ball in the 89th minute, you deserve what you get.

It hasn't been overlooked. Osman failed to control the ball on the halfway line & Jags didn't react quickly enough to the danger - both made errors, with Ossies being the worst of the 2.

Neither of which excuses Howard for his piss poor effort in keeping out Ba's resulting shot.

In fairness to all of them, the chest control from Ameobi was sublime. Yes you can argue they'd dropped too deep, weren't close enough or that Distin should have attacked the ball - but Ameobi made that goal with a superb piece of control.

Having said that, Howard either needs to stay on his line or charge through on Ba. None of this halfway jumping jack crap.

Ba scored the goal and it was a lazy poke with his studs..

He did control it nicely but hell with that much space I could have brought that one in.

I wasn't talking about the finish, I was talking about the chest lay off from Ameobi.

I doubt that you could have 'chest passed' a 60 yard punt whilst jumping 3ft off the deck.
