What a wast of money. 3 million on another striker, this time it's a [Poor language removed] striker who hasn't scored for years.

We need midfielders!!!
 
Great signing. £3 milllion bargain, for a player who has a thirst for the ball.

Wasted at Newcastle, like many players are, Moyes will get the best out of him, just like he did with Yakubu.

Seriously what does that mean? He likes to run after it like a headless chicken and hack people down? Excellent news.

Wasted at Newcastle? He's not good enough for Newcastle which is why he isn't getting a game.

What do you want him to do? Stand there by the goal?!

And not getting games? 33 games (our of 38) in a season is pretty good considering injureis.

We'll get someone called Moutinho on loan, but not the Moutinho from Sporting...

...Then the OS can torture us with "MOUTINHO SIGNS" - then finding out its a [Poor language removed] player for the reserves.

He's a striker isn't he? He's certainly not a midfielder.

I can't see how people are happy that we are signing a midfielder who can't pass, tackle, dribble and a striker who doesn't score. Talk about lack of ambition.

He's been [Poor language removed] for Newcastle, he's not good enough for them which is why he's on the bench whereas Nicky Butt's playing in his position.
 
Moyes was in Belgium last night to see UEFA Cup opponents Standard Liege draw at Roeselare, and is interested in several Liege players including midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

He also plans one last attempt to persuade Sporting Lisbon to sell Portugal international Joao Moutinho by raising his offer to £14m.


Intresting, im prepared to give Smith a chance hes a Moyes sort of player, could play in the hole behind a front two.! Its in the mail so usually you can gaurentee it wont happen.
