there's a reason why he's playing in the championship

Taraabt played in the Championship, as did Scott Sinclair, as does Bellamy and Stuart Holden, all decent players, in fact a lot of Norwich's and Swansea's players came from the Championship. It doesn't mean very much.

Either Eagles or Lee would be a good addition to our squad.

One thing's for sure - now that this story and his possible availability is out in the open, his price will soar.

He's not good enough for the Premier League. He's not even the best winger in the Championship. For the money, it would be a monumental disaster. Every time he's played in the Premier League he's looked flimsy and inconsistent.

Thankfully, it's not a Moyes signing at all, so it won't happen. If this was on a Bosman or for a small fee like Gibson, I wouldn't mind, but there's no way he'll spunk £5m on Eagles.

I doubt he'd cost £5m would he? He's only got 18 months left on his contract and Bolton are about £150m in debt. Personally I do think he's good enough for the Premier League, he proved it whilst he was at Bolton last season. And yes, they did get relegated but they had an injury crisis much worse than the one we're experiencing now.

Gahhh, Take It Easy people... We haven't signed him yet...

I Can't Tell You Why Moyes would want him, but in The Long Run, he would be a better option than Naismith.

We haven't got a massive budget, and signing someone like him is hardly likely to Take It To The Limit...

Besides, we always benefit from adding to the squad. Players always seem to raise thir game when there's a New Kid In Town.

Lovely stuff!

Are you people for real?! 4 pages on Chris eagles in under two hours with out even any real link...god I hate transfer windows.

And what's worse am the tit hitting the refresh page every four seconds glued to the god damm screen. 3 hours I've been awake and I've been off this site for twenty minutes and that was to check skysports! I don't think I can handle this for a month.

If this is a genuine link, then I trust Moyes almost entirely when it comes to players. Not least bargain price players from the Championship.

have we ever actually been interested in him? seems every transfer window he pops up - some people you just know are not good enough for everton - this is another
