First let him be a regular defender, then shush the Park End while pirouetting, then let's have a flash in the pan manager sing his song and defy a "big club" to come get him, then let's sell him and start it all over.
Not that I'm hurt
So thats 3 million to Charlton and a half a million each for fat Sam and WalshyBut Walsh has said no player is signed unless both him and the manager are in total agreement about him.
(not that I would be 100% believing owt he said)
You have to think about yer children man. Dont be shellfishNo, no, and again no.
Every penny we have need's to go players ready to challenge for the first 11 now!
I'm sick of 'promising' defenders, and non-scoring midfielders.
Nah, not necessarily-need both. I see your point signing players ready for the first team and we should (LB!), but if we are ever going to challenge upwards we need to sign great youth players and give them plenty of 1st team opportunities, which the so called big teams are not doing today. In this way we could competetive and build a core of young talents for the future with some more expensive well selected targets (I know this is a challenge in itself-anotother story though!)You have to think about yer children man. Dont be shellfish
Business innit.
I'd say Charlton have become our feeder club, but the reality is we're probably the Charlton B team.
It's hardly on the level of Southamptonpool FC is it?We’ve signed a grand total of 1 player from Charlton.
