Would be great if we could take advantage at the end of June like others have with us before
There’s a few clubs there who could do the old ‘inflated fee’ swap around though

Lash in a huge naming rights deal before June might give us some roomDoubt it mate, think until the PSR year for three years ago drops off after June we are still tight
Oh sorry mate i got mixed upthat’s mason melia right? i was referring to noonan
West Ham will sell as they need to get the age down in their squad, nearly 3/4 of that squad are aged 27 and over (many over 30) and on decent money, it was one of the issues of Moyes recruitment in his time there.West ham by accounts are reported to need to sell this summer before they can bring anyone in - very close on PSR, same for Newcastle as well.
Don't see a few others having much room either such as Brighton, Bournemouth and forest as all three have been spending a lot the last couple of years, widely reported that United are in a PSR mess also this summer needing to offload before doing any business.
United kinda budget expecting CL and lots of if their commercial deals are scaled on that, think west ham also will have budgeted expecting a top 8 finish with European footy.
We might actually be one of the strongest in terms of spending ability this summer.
That sounds promisingOur baseline numbers won't be too far off Newcastles PSR wise from Newcastles first summer with the Arabs in charge.

Brighton and Forest will probably recycle a few players and do a few deals imo, I'm interested to see if Newcastle actually do anything. Id expect us to to do a fair bit but I think it will be with younger lads or foreign guys around the £15-25m mark, I don't see us in for £40/50m deals for the likes of what it will cost for Rigg, Dibling, or Delap tbh. Aside from the cost factor the bigger boys will be able to offer more.
I'm not sure mate, by and large I agree around the type of fees we'll be looking at, but I do think TFG will sanction one big transfer if Moyes wants it, and traditionally Moyes has spent big (relative to his budgets) on a striker, think he broke our transfer record something like 3 times over 4 years on strikers, Beattie, AJ and the Yak.
So can see that happening again on the likes of a Delap (or Ferguson but only if he found his form again).
Yeah the bigger boys will always be able to offer more, but think Moyes will be looking at those players who value tine rather than being at a 'sky 6' club.
It's shy I'm not gonna be shocked if we do go in for the likes of Delap, Mcatee etc - lads who want to be playing rather than sitting at a big CL club as a squad player.
Delap looks like a better bet than Ferguson as things stand.
Don't want us taking risks on anyone whose fitness is questionable as we've done it for too many times over the years.
I tend to agree, I also like the fact Delap chose Ipswich over other interested clubs after ringing the manager and chatting to him about his role in the team etc. shows the right type of attitude and a proper professional attitude which is gonna be key with any incomings.
Was thinking we'd have to sink money into two strikers this summer but since Betos form under Moyes, reckon one alongside him will do now, and a younger player makes sense - think Delap will be getting lot of media attention linking him with the biggest clubs but think most if that will be bs and they'll be going for 'bigger, sexier' names from abroad.
A 21yo Delso, 28yo Beto and 21yo Chermiti I'd feel pretty confident that they'd get a good number if goals next season - even if it would set us back 40m or so
The strikers cost the big money don't they. He looks like a 35m+ type of player.
But who knows, maybe we can find similar abroad for 15m.
I mean ffs, we could have prime Ronaldo at the minute and he wouldn't dislodge Beto would he with the form he's in
If he carries on his current form, Moyes is going to have a very nice headache in the summer and whether he trusts him to lead the line, or if he wants someone a little more rounded.
Based on last nights performance, there wouldn't be many better out there in our budget would there.
New shirt sponsor aswell do think will be in alot better shape than have been. But ofc if a crazy bid comes in would have to take itLash in a huge naming rights deal before June might give us some room
