Everton. I hate you. Again.

We lost to Wigan at home when Millwall were waiting in the semi final. We had a pen v united fo take the lead and Palace waiting in the final. We missed it and lost in the last kick of the game. We’re allergic to success or even any single good moment on a football pitch. In the last month alone we’ve had more gut punches than most clubs probably get in a good few seasons.
We even played the RS in a semi with their 3rd choice keeper in goal and blew it.

The pen was actually to make it 1-1 but heck we looked the only winners of that game after taking so long to get going,it was the og that made it 1-1 though

Lost that one thanks to some brain dead defenders too.
Mainly down to our s house manager, game was won at halftime, so a terrified Moyes had us defend on our own goal line for the entire 2nd half , there was only ever going to be one outcome from there on in !

I genuinely don’t like a single player in the squad apart from the old heads (Baines, Jags and Coleman) who haven’t got long left. It’s hard to have a connection when you feel total apathy to an entire matchday squad week in week out.

They just have nothing, no edge, no quirks, no effort and no good moments.

It feels like we are in a Sunderlandesque death spiral that is impossible to break out of. Neither changing manager or lashing money on players has made any difference.
There is an inevitability about where this is all heading.
So sad, but it feels like our destiny.

So true this
