This thread got me thinking about Vinny Samways. What would the opposite of the hype train be? When the club spent over the odds for players the world could see were tosh.

For the most part, Sigurdson did well.

I enjoy the ones where, like Niasse, there are big claims that slowly whittle down towards the truth, e.g. 'top scorer/player of the year' turns out to be a single player of the month award.
