IDK, seems like a pretty radical change to me. Going from being worried about relegation pretty much every season to being in Europe four times in five years.

Whether your a moyes fan or not, whether you have issues with things he does, whether you (IMO unrealisticaly) think he should of win something.....

He deserves credit for transforming the club on the field under difficult circumstances.

I like him. He did the Everton match reports in the Daily Post for well over a decade in the mid-1980s to mid-1990s, then his Friday night column in the Echo (before Prentice took over) helped to get rid of jokers like Peter Johnson & Clifford Finch from the club, by highlighting their BS and putting pressure on them. Oh, for someone like that now.....

This was back when the Echo had balls and had journos who weren't afraid to ruffle feathers by saying it like it was.

Now he's Mr Corporate because he has a cushy BBC job, but back in the day he was a proper Blue rottweiler of a writer.

Oh and I quite like him too. It's one of the reasons that I get 95% of my news updates (sport and general news) through the BBC, I used to read Sky Sports but I can't be bothered with it any more.
