Video on the OS regarding this and talking about it in more detail. The opportunity to meet the man of the match, to have a lovely meal and obviously free drinks goes down well. I done it myself about 9 years ago and although as an 18 year old I didn't value it too much I think it's nice what they do and Evertons hospitality is rated the best in the country.
However:
It concerns me that football fans who sit in the stands, paying their season ticket prices and normal match ticket prices get absolutely sh1t on. You walk through the turnstile and the only available options are a hotdog priced at £4 which is a dodgy one on a roll. Drinks are scandalous also, never bought one so don't know how much but we are the true fans here. I'm not saying we deserve to get it for free etc and have the same privileges these tossers have but I think Everton should realise how much it costs us to attend games all year round and to sell the food and drink with at least 40% off its current RRP. These hotdogs must cost £1 for a pack of 10 and they are making a profit of £39 on one pack.
It really annoys me seeing all the privileges these people get and we get absolutely nothing. If anything we get treated like dirt. We really do. I was speaking to a West Ham fan last season and he pointed out the unfair treatment of football fans.
The guy on the video points out how the food is the best, why can't we have the opportunity? I'd pay for the food if it was good. But no, they look at us and think "just give them rubbish"
Price the food at a lower price because it is simply disgusting. I won't buy it again anyway, it was only an emergency. That menu can improve so much. I'm gonna write to Everton.
Email address please?
We need to speak up, they must think we are happy with a pint and a pie, yet the country bang on about healthy living. It's a football club, promote the club and the sport across the board, healthier options. We are all not pie eaters who don't care about our physique. I'll be bringing my own stuff anyway until something happens.
