Without hope, what else is there to cling on to? lolThink you’re being hopeful if you’re expecting a change of kit to make sauces play like Alan ball

not sure if you got your answer mate, but a "multi-year deal" is a contract that spans several years instead of 1 year (or less) and therefore doesn't need to be extended or renegotiated each year
I'm no @The Esk but in my experience most contracts have specifics allowing either party to get out under certain conditions, and a multi-year deal provides some stability both for club and kit manufacturer, and the two parties are better able to hedge against uncertainty by lengthening the contract a reasonable amount between too short (1 year?) and too long (20 years? or 10 years for EFC?)
I think this practice is pretty common in most industries
The bloody sponsor is a bigger deal breaker for me than the manufacturer.
Can't wait until we bin SportPesa off. A total embarrassment of a sponsor.
Who really cares?
Edgy you lad. Have you never watched a single minute of Game of Thrones either?
Love GOT me
Can't see that happening for a while. We're practically married to them nevermind in bed with them. Their European head offices are in the Liver Building.
They're paying a fair whack to us too for the privilege considering what we'd probably get from other companies. I think their deal involves being on the training kits too though which bothers me because they're massive on everything rather than just small under the Everton badge. That would look so much better than right across the chest.
I wish they had a better logo too. The SportPesa in block letters without some sort of image or symbol underneath always looks unfinished to me.
I couldn't agree more Blue! The bloody sponsor is a bigger deal breaker for me than the manufacturer.

I kind of liked Chang, reminded me of good (and some not so good) times in Thailand. I also liked that we were pretty much the last club to have an ale logo on our shirt.I didn’t mind it at first. But they’re crap aren’t they?!
Like the Chang of betting companies. With a worse logo.
Considering the relative undesirability of the sponsor, we may have lucked out with the SportPesa logo. It's simple, clean, goes with any kit design. Which I'd say is something of a rarity when you have a sponsor of that level. Nobody knows what SportPesa is, which is fine by me and the logo sure doesn't intrigue anyone to find out. Look at the awful SportPesa clip-art "S" logo Hull used to have, thank heavens we don't have that.
The Angry Birds logo is another matter...
Also, I must be one of the only people who doesn't have a problem with Angry Birds being our sleeve sponsor. It's not the best but there are much worse.
