Everton donate 200k for Bradley

It was approaching 500k and we topped it up to the required (campaign aim) amount. 700k.

I thought it was only ramped up once our donation had been announced. I'd heard that when the Club decided to pledge, the amount was a little over 200K. Within an hour of the announcement just after the final whistle, I believe things just snowballed and the pledges flooded in to jump to 700k in no time.

There's different fund raising pots all over the place. The pound text thing is a different pot to the stuff collected offline, the justgiving one is a different one etc etc. All told it stood at about 500k before your donation. Everton's remarkable donation has took it over the line. You've no idea the feeling up in the NE this morning on the back of this. unbelievable

Nah. As I said it was around the 450-475 area and we topped it up. The truly amazing thing is how much further interest it has generated and helped to further swell the fund to way beyond what the family could have hoped for. The donation pages are still being bombarded with pledges. That in itself is as magical as what we as a club have done.

Keep giving folks. Every little bit, no matter how much, will give Bradley a better chance of fulfilling all his hopes and dreams.

I'd only heard it from 3rd hand, plus it matters not one jot what the level was etc when we acted: the main, and only, point is that we stepped up and gave this little guy and his family a fighting chance. I'm sure we're all still brimming with pride at our Club, but moreover we're all praying Bradley pulls through as that smile was enough to melt the heart of a ogre.

Doesnt matter whos idea it was,why it was done, how much it was, whether Sunderland or anybody else does the same, the club fone it because they wanted to,yeah its a drop in the ocean in terms of football money but its a massive amount to the family, every single person who has donated any amount deserves a pat on the back
