In fairness, and I don't know this, it has all the feeling of Bill Kenwright.

RK congratulated the Chairman for the gesture.

When you are Chairman of a club I guess you place your head on the chopping block Bill, rightly or wrongly gets a fair amount of stick from quarters on GOT, IMHO I don't think he is the worst and if it was him that sanctioned the gesture then he should be applauded for it, I believe that is the best 200k we have ever spent, put it into context it is a months wages for Niasse.

The SSN presenter (don't know his name) was clearly moved as he announced this at the top of the hour.

As I posted on another forum this is a small gesture for a major "corporation" which nevertheless illustrates that Everton has not forgotten that it is a "club" of ordinary people.

The players who wear the shirt will no doubt do their bit for Bradley, but this should also humble them and make them understand what being Everton is all about.

Dean, Lawton, Farrell, Eglinton, Hickson, Labone, Kendall, Ball, West, Speed, Ablett would all approve.

Some Sunderland fans on their SMB forum saying they'd like to give something back once Bradley is all sorted with his trip and treatment, around the return game at GP. I don't know if we should ask since that's not why I/we donated - but if anyone more involved with it than I am wanted to tell them about EitC or the former players' foundation then I don't see the harm.

Wish I could triple-like this post

Brilliant. It would be interesting to know who actually made the decision though.
She will have most certainly had her hand all over this.
