EVERTON COULD BE OUTBID BY AFRICAN CLUB

I once jumped out of a bus and ran to buy the Echo because the headline outside of the newsagent was that we had signed a star player. That star player turned out to be Marc Hottiger.

The moral of this story is never believe what you see written in papers (or internet)

The same reason Juan Ramon Riquelme and Luis Fabiano left top 4 Spanish La Liga sides - The opportunity to play for his boyhood club,in his native country, for possibly more money.
They are both older than Pienaar and left for better teams in better leagues.

You are going on as if Pienaar is linked to a club that plays it's football in SOMALIA!!!

This is a country that hosted the world cup just 2 years ago, they have the biggest economy in Africa and their local league is the 9th most commercially successful in the WORLD! If you did a little research like i did earlier on today you will find that they have a former Everton and Liverpool player plying his trade there(Sander Westerveld),Former Premier league player Luis Boa Morte and Champions League winner Benni McCarthy. Freddy ljumberg expressed his desire to join Kaizer Chiefs and Cleerence Seerdof said he wants to end his career at Ajax Cape Town(ajax amsterdam's sister club). Quick tip for all you novice gamblers, a bit of research never hurt.Never bet against something that is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Haha cool story bro.

Are we really comapring South Africa with Brazil and Argentina here?

Pele spent the best part of his entire career in South America ffs.

TYPICAL SOUTH AFRICAN LEAGUE PLAYER: '' FIFA has pinpointed possible stars of the future,
From Africa they point a firm finger at Thulani Serero of Ajax Cape Town (South Africa).
Serero described by Fifa as “diminutive but tricky, providing a hint of unpredictable genius..."

Is he a role model though lid? If not, count me out.

Name one player in the history of the world who has played his prime years in South Africa. Even in the 30s when footballer immigration hardly ever happened all the best South Africans played in Liverpool.

South Africa is the only country where it is legal to equip your car with a Flame Thrower.

That was before money was pumped in their local league though. Things have changed. Before, they could only sign over the hill players like Paddy Crerand(sp),Terry Payne,Roger Hunt,Gordan Banks etc. Now, with the silly money that's being splashed around(as well as the state of the art training facilities, stadiums etc) they can lure in better players who are in their prime. The world's changing mate. The likes of China,South Africa and Qatar are looking more and more like attractive options to players. Look at Gyan and Moreno, both in their prime, both turned down premier league and serie a clubs for qatar and china respectively!!!
