That was before money was pumped in their local league though. Things have changed. Before, they could only sign over the hill players like Paddy Crerand(sp),Terry Payne,Roger Hunt,Gordan Banks etc. Now, with the silly money that's being splashed around(as well as the state of the art training facilities, stadiums etc) they can lure in better players who are in their prime. The world's changing mate. The likes of China,South Africa and Qatar are looking more and more like attractive options to players. Look at Gyan and Moreno, both in their prime, both turned down premier league and serie a clubs for qatar and china respectively!!!

Believe it when I see it mate. Most footballers want to play in leagues which people actually watch.

Are you South African?

If you put in LeBlaqCoq in google it would seem he posted a bit on a bbc forum, The same user wrote this

I'm a huge Kaizer Chiefs supporter & a lover of good footie.I used to support Leeds United mainly because my fellow countryman & Kaizer Chiefs Legend,Lucas Radebe used to ply his trade in that part of the world & served them deligantly for 11 years.I've been tracking their progress in the lower tier but I've been contemplating ''adopting'' a Premier League side for a while now. After great consideration I think that City do deserve my support as I do admire the owners ambition to make City a formidabble force in Europe & have been a big fan of Hughes(from his days at Blackburn, giving Benni a new leash on life & moulding him into one of the best strikers in Africa),and you lads(i'm referring to City's fans) aren't that bad either.I'll be one of many South Africans rushing to SportsScene to purchase the new Man City jersey,a light blue Vuvuzela & schedule recordings on my PVR for all Man City matches. Can't for next season!!!!

Good work Detective Del.

It seems LeBlaqCoq is a glory hunter who has joined GOT to wind people up and post complete tosh.

Mate,it goes beyond losing PIENAAR. Yes, he is not indispensible and no one player is bigger than the club. What alarmed me about the article was the fact that 2 clubs that have a far smaller fanbase in comparison to Everton can secure a shirt sponsorship deal worth 100 million pounds!!!! Our excutives are either incredibly incompetent or they couldn't be bothered!!!Bill must eff off now, this is getting a bit ridiculous!!!!

If they have a shirt sponsorship deal worth £100 million then I'll eat my fist.
