The club have already said that they're not going to do that.

Now I've seen Everton do u-turns in the past - I've seen BK say he wouldn't sell Rooney for less than £50m - but a u-turn just a week or two later? Simply can't see it.

20m rising to 24m is technically above his release clause.

Ronaldo made back his transfer fee in merchandise sales alone.

Ronaldo was a world star when he signed, who was 2nd only to Beckham as the most marketable man on the planet, not a jug eared Welshman with a grid like a Chimp, who's had 1 season in the CL.
 
This petty bickering as to Fellaini's value is inane.
could Everton buy a better replacement for what he's sold for ? The answer is yes.
could we pay more for a player who ultimately fails ? The answer again is yes.
For me it's a question of who Roberto buys SHOULD we sell Fellaini.
I don't have a crystal ball and am not mystic meg,but time will tell.
