The quarter finals are scheduled for the same week as they play the world club championships.

Also how come there was no VAR? I thought the League Cup had it last year, wasn't Mourinho moaning about some incident.

Because VAR is only at prem grounds,they did away with it this year for the comp,though it could be used for semi finals

This competetion now holds the greatest importance for our brave lion hearts. Granted, the Carabao Cup does not possess the same cachet as the Champions league...but at least it's a trophy we have a smidgeon of hope in nearly getting to a final...which, for EFC, is a great success these days.

I'll take any apart from City/RS, Be surprised if Klopp put out a weakened side like that against us imo.
Rest are beatable but we'd need to up our game big time specially against Leicester/United.

....’the luck of the draw’ is such a true saying when it comes to this stage of a competition.

i’ve thought for a while that Man City/Leicester are the teams to avoid. Regardless of the disappointment of last nights result, a trip to Anfield might actually be a touch better than Arsenal away but first and foremost a home draw would be great.

Klopp stating that it's the organiser's problem and not up to LFC to come up with solutions.

We've done that at the Emirates too. I'd be more confident playing this dreadful Arsenal side than any iteration of Liverpool Football Club.
