“I would hope people would say, ‘Look how many top-10 finishes Everton have had under David Moyes compared to before’. I think you should always be judged on your league form because it’s a consistent thing over 10 months.

“Of course I want to win the cups. Every cup I’ve gone into I’ve tried to win it.

“Ultimately people will say, ‘Yeah but did he win a cup?’ and the answer to that will ultimately be no.

“But I think the clever people will assess the other reasons behind it. Well we had to try and beat Chelsea in a cup final or Liverpool in a semi-final and if they did that they maybe got Chelsea again.”

Judge me on my league form because it's what I'm best at.

Every cup I’ve gone into I’ve tried to win it but not at the expense of league form because I love league.

Ultimate.

Sometimes you play teams that are better than you in the cup and that can be a reason for not winning the cup and you have to be clever to realise this.

Why are we not in europe this year?

A) because of our budget.

B) Because we failed to hold onto a 1-0 half time lead against a team who'd lost 11 out of 18 and finished below us in the league.

Answers on a postcard.

Its actually C : their players cost more than ours so we should have just not bothered turning up. Ignore the fact we were (and are) a better team then them and just talk about price tags.

Did Moyes specifically instruct Distin to pass to Suarez?

No, and dalglish didn't instruct their defenders to make a hash up of a clearance and gift Jelavic a chance.

1-1 on cock ups.

It was only then that the fact their players cost more than us meant they won.

Pick your own snarky reply!

A) It's such a shame that Moyes was lumbered with Distin, a player he has never bought, trained, picked or motivated and so whose errors have nothing to do with him!

B) It's such a shame that no club in the world has ever won a game from 1-1 and that as soon as that equaliser happened the game was over!

C) It's such a shame that the rules of the game stop you from scoring a second goal once you go 1-0 up and all you can do is sit back and hope your defenders don't make any mistakes!

D) It's so unfortunate that teams we play never make any defending cock ups in semi final games! Darn our Luck!

I dont know what some people want Moyes to do to be honest, it seems they want him to either

- sign a contract at a club where he feels he cant take the club any further (without CL football)
- leave now, whilst we still have a shot of the FA Cup and top 4.

Neither of those options make any sense whatsoever to be honest.

No mate many are incensed that he's taking the pee possibly telling porkies. If he's come to a decision with Kenwright on the quiet we should be told, this tap dancing around "I'll see how I feel ..." caper tells us nothing and look at the bother it's causing already.

It isn't like he's working in the local chippy he's one of the best paid managers on the planet at one of footballs institutions if he won't say what he's doing he's ripping it.

Could just be that he genuinely doesn't know what he's going to do.

that redcoat Kenwright is to blame not moyes, the moment the fer deal suddenly took a hinge you knew that the board were pissing around again and as much I as hope Moyes doesnt go as I love the man and think we will struggle without him, I would love Moyes to tell that snake kenwright to get to **** live on SSN would love it
