Ok, sorry, my misunderstanding, or perhaps I wrote it in agreement but clumsily - honestly cant remember! I agree there should be a 3 match ban due to the severity of the injury. It's there as a trivial deterrent to dangerous play.

I had none left, but if I had any respect for the fa then it would have been lessened by their rescinding the card. Its who not what you know with them too

Well firstly, people don't stay upset forever - it would be an evolutionary disadvantage to mope about. Secondly, we dont know what else happened in the interim - perhaps he spoke to Gomes and his response cheered him up.

I hope Gomes gets back o the pitch quickly, but hoping another player has lasting psychological damage isn't going to speed that on.

He's not wishing psychological damage on a player, he's questioning how genuine he was in terms of feeling actual remorse for his actions.
