Just think that if we dont drop concentration, keep the ball and pressing it'll be an easy win. Wigan arent really stepping up a gear.

1 goal in how many appearances since the last time exactly?

good goal.

we need to win this the hammers are 4 points behind..or where til we scored. id like to see lots of goals today for us.

4 games. During that time our midfield has been gash. He has played alone up front a lot, and received hardly any service.

Pienaar has not scored in how many games? and we are not slating him.

4 goals in 7 games. regardless of how you want to fluff it, they are still good stats.

We've looked good in patches. Wigan look dangerous when they attack us down the wings though, so i hope we get an early goal to kill them off a bit.

I do think we look at more balanced side with Cahill in the midfield 4 rather than Felli - definately more pressing from the Jo which is good!

Will be a different game in the second half, Bruce has told them to pack the defence obviously expecting cross after cross, which clearly isnt working as Jo is playing immaculately outside the box and provideing as well as getting into deft positions, retaining poscession and being involved in the formation of attacks. hes playing somewhat of a free role hes on the left and right channel and picking the ball up and going with it, playing well.

Ossie and Pienaar for all their effort, their distribution is still bad, just that last touch is letting both down.

Neville is solid, Mofro desptie trying just hasnt got into it enough or the ball hasnt bounced for him.

Cahill is man of the match so far for me.

Defensive look strong as per usual while baines is a good outlet, Howard looks shakey!

I agree, this is ours for the taking if we start playing a bit. If we can take the game up the pitch then we can keep their midfielders on defensive duties. (Where they then tend to boot us!)

Although Osman has got the immense tag of "Playing ****e this season" - he has probably been one of our better players.

One of his better games.

Also, how many headers are we winning up top? We need to exploit this more.
