Could also be a very promising start that sets us up for the season. Think positive. We took 4 points off the Arse and 3 from Chelsea. If we batter Leicester in pre season, give them something to think about also.

Just came on to say this. Wow, what's gone wrong with the fixture computer there like. Yet more proof of the anti kopite conspiracy.

Didn't someone on here say the odds of the Goodison derby being first again was 1/9? What were the odds of today's outcome?!

i had a look through the fixtures on the BPL website and wasnt too concerned...

then you see them on the OS and its a different story...

first 7 fixtures include CFC AFC LFC and MAN U...haha - bit gutted now tbh, knowing we wont have our signings till TDD makes it tricky but talk about an acid test

As everyone realised that apart from the August games most of are games will be the boring Sunday.

With Arsenal and Chelsea before transfer deadline day, ideally we need to have our big signings in before them games.

arsenal could be a massive 6 pointer for top 4 as well depending on people's transfer dealings.

spurs home last game could be masive as well.

glad we have an away derby first. obviously we'll lose now.

We did get a bunch of tough games in the beginning of the season. Looks like the first 7 games will give a good indication on how our season will go. If we get a decent haul of Points from the games against CFC, AFC, LFC & ManU in addition to max against Leicester, West Brom & Palace we will be in for a good season, if not.. we might be in for a long season.

Leicester away 1st up worries me more than the arse and Chelsea at home! Win that and we'll be buzzing going into them. Need some boss signings soon though!
