Those of us with a longer memory will remember the likes of McMahon, Gerrard, Fowler, Owen (and maybe one or two others) making gestures towards us after derby goals so their faux outrage over Doucoure is laughable. What comes around etc.

It was a only last week when the Bournemouth player scored that pen against us, then made gestures towards the Gwladys St and we didn't throw our toys out the pram like lots of them have done about Doucoure. The Bournemouth lad just got a load of V's and middle fingers in his direction then we moved on.

As for the 'clear foul' (their words) on Konate, well this is the same bloke who should've been sent off at 0-0 in the last Anfield derby and got away with it. That was just a little nudge by Beto. Nothing more.

Could've easily been a pen for us had we not scored at the death as Branthwaite was getting clearly held back by one of their defenders.

Wasn’t there a lad who posted on here who came from the USA for the game, he came over for the original game but obviously missed it because of the weather bet he can’t believe his luck.
@Curtis ?

Did you manage to attend the rescheduled fixture?

Edit: Never mind, just searched the thread and saw you were able to make it.
So happy for you.

It’s a contact sport, not badminton!

It was O’Brien wasn’t it?

I think the best one was when Slippy G away celebrating giving the Bullens road loads of it, only for the goal to be disallowed, we take a quick free kick and their keeper had to run out screaming for Slippy to turn around and close down Baines.

O'Brien was having his shirt pulled in the area.

Yeah there’s no way that slight nudge was a foul. If it had been the same action, but roles reversed, would it have been a penalty?

Not a chance.
