They can watch the screen so they saw the lines being drawn and when you see the green line it means the goal will be given

As soon as they showed the green line everyone knows that the goal would be given

Yeah, but in this instance the offside was only the first thing they looked at. It was Beto’s nudge that they were looking at latterly.

They knew it was given before us because they heard VAR say “no foul” to the referee - which we don’t get to hear.

You can understand why Slott was fuming. They kept hoofing it up instead of just bringing it down and playing it around the back. The ref blows the whistle because nothing’s happening.

One thing that I forgot from that passage of play was Harrison’s tenacity to keep the ball alive before Alcaraz switched it to Young. Fair play.
