You would start to believe in a God. That god doesnt give a toss about Gaza or Ukraine, but he intervenes when Everton's fooballing record is in real danger.
I think we should stay at Goodison, it might be a holy place.
I had said for the couple of minutes before the goal that we needed a little bit of magic to make something happen. I didn't mean like you'd normally say it to mean a magic touch or cross or anything, but something just.....MAGIC to come from the atmosphere because of the occasion, an odd little touch or stroke of luck from somewhere.....and when that strange little deflection from the Harrison pass to Myko happened, I just KNEW that was it, absolutely knew, said to my mate "that's it, that's what I mean".....seconds later....mayhem.

I don't know what that deflection even was, did it come off a red? Two reds? Off Myko's head before it fell to him the second time?....but that was the guardian angel moment....amazing!

Woke up this morning a bit conflicted about how I feel about that result. A 2-0 win would have been great, but I’m certain it wouldn’t have resulted in heads falling off amongst the RS like what happened did. They lost it last night in ways I can’t honestly remember happening that often.
They are a bunch of absolute manufactured soft arses, like a pack of Haribo.

Harrison kicked it into his own head and it looped up to Mykolenko. Quite the feat if it was planned.

Honestly, I think they are pretty ordinary.

The difference is, they're unbelievably clinical and have fitness levels at unbelievable levels.

I've said in recent weeks, they're like a well oiled engine, just keep going and going and are effective.

I don't think they're necessarily a great side though. But everything has aligned for them, and still wouldn't be shocked to see them go far in Europe as well as winning the League.
They have overall better players than us but that is not saying a lot.
They are lucky that Arsenal are not quite there and that Citeh somehow lost it this season.
In Europe, Real are not as good as before but now improving and if they meet later, Carlo will know how to beat them.
All in all, this lot are not as good as many past LFC teams.

Thats a proper Moyes result. Illiman going off did not dent our resolve.

We would never ever have a performance like that before the injury with Dyche. But by miracle we did. We would have caved in of we lost our best player like that.

There was no time to give a crap about that injury. They kept going.
