Played some good stuff at times, would be good to see a positive change early in the second half to try kill the game

Decent half but we should have tested their keeper much more. Too much nice but ineffective football by us, especially from the likes of Gueye and Dewsbury.

Mykolenko and O'Brien should be involving themselves much, much more against a side intent on defending only.

Anyway, if it stays like this make attacking and not defensive changes that will welcome pressure onto us in the latter stages. George for McNeil after 65 minutes would be a good idea.

Very laboured, which is because we have 2 defensive full backs who don't naturally overlap and create space. Central midfielders are doing ok though and Beto has controlled the ball better than usual.

If we move him left will it disguise the fact he's left footed?

No, he'll be okay to use it instead of stopping every single time to put it on his left foot.

Right now if Ndiaye gave him that ball in the box what'll happen is he stops, takes a touch or two to push it left, then shoots, as an example.

The entire league knows McNeil has no right foot, and we're playing him on the right. In a game where he's feeling it, would make more sense to move him left so he can at least provide something in open play there.

If we were overly concerned with creating from open play, he wouldn’t be on the pitch. He’s been very useful winning the ball, and at second balls from corners. We’re playing utterly turgid footy but he’s been one of our better players.

I think we have played well. We scored off of the one decent ball we put on and almost scored from the second with Branthwaite's header.

Beto looks on it. KDH has been a bit of a disappointment but overall I think they've done well so far.

Well, we are winning and they look unable to score which is odd for a team that scores a lot.

But thats my concern, we dont seem to be trying to do much at all, and we will sit back in the second half and invite pressure until we make a mistake or give up a deflection.

Would much rather put George on the 2nd half for speed on the counter and to go at them more.

Our lack of movement in the final 3rd is there for all to see. Everywhere else on the pitch for the most part it's good. But the players just seem to stand about up front. When we do move we make chances.

Illy trying it on, but you can’t blame him as they are frequently given. There where 3 nibbles at his ankles and none got near the ball.

No no, he's fine this game, don't get me wrong, no criticism on the overall to him - we're just taking away his only good quality on the ball when the option *is* available to swap him and Ndiaye on the wings. See my post before yours too
