Why not come back as a coach?

Few thousand pounds a week to do a few hours "work" a day, 4 or 5 days a week on the training pitch, keeping fit, being around the lads, still involved in the game, etc etc. Bring all that 'experience and leadership' you hear so much about.

Wouldn't be the first time we've handed out jobs to ex players for no other reason than they once played for the club.

Who knows, maybe he'll go and play in Ireland or somewhere for a year or two then come and be a coach. We all know this club makes sure 'legends'/any ex player has a place and a paycheque if they want one.

I've been shouting this all day. He's waiting to see what he can get on a players wage.

He should be no where near our future players. I know they've all come out and said "he's a brilliant person" but he's not someone I want near our future squads.

the result today was as bad as it can get, where did that lack of focus and intensity come from when the culmination of everything to salvage from the season was on the line. That was the worse performance since Brentford at home,we all had ready made excuses for that with injuries and players at AFCON,today was almost a full squad, less the main 2 missing in Gueye and Branthwaite, but still should have had enough to see off a Sunderland side with nothing to play for in front of a fully expectant full house.
Then we go and Everton it up as we always do in failing to achieve something positive and settling for basic nothingness when something was in reach...
