Agreed, but that’s what I mean by changing tactics as well as formation.I hear what you're saying but with the way Moyes sets us up the only other possibility would be Rohl purely for his physique
Two full backs needed, how many windows is that now, i have lost count. We finish 12th, n’diaye does a legger, we replace him with McNeill, buy no one and start next season with O'brien and myko.....watch this space
Any decent striker worth his exorbitant salary bags that sitter in the first half. Not our gangly guy. We forgive him and sympathize when he buries his head in his hand. Do Messi, Haaland, and Salah miss that and bury their heads counting on patience and fan sympathy? I love us but also really hurt a lot because of us.Just checked. 3 people voted Barry MOTM
Yep.Off the back of a good away win. Team getting back to almost full strength. Chance to go above the RS.
Everton, you know what to do.
It’s like the only time we wake up is when we’re losing or down a man. Not good enough. If we played with the energy and intent we showed with 10 men all game we’d have walked all over them
Superman doesn't wear the Red'n'Blue for nothingIirc We are like kryptonite to Crystal Palace @Alan Whittle
Spot on mateIts amazing that the set up at home has a striker completely isolated with KDH the nearest to him (about 20yds away), 2 wingers away miles from being able to press the opposition full backs, defensive minded full backs, yet we are easy to carve open, easy to walk through the middle as one of the midfielders is always allowed to go walkies.
Its a dreadful set up and the thing is, it doesnt have to be like that. KDH can move back into midfield ( and still be a threat ), we can then get Alcaraz or Rohl (if we want that extra player to press) in that 10 position and much closer to the striker. We have Aznou who can offer attacking intent at home, Patterson for balance. Tonight was a perfect chance to play Jake and Jarrad together so we could squeeze them higher up the pitch and have a higher line. Rest Gana for Rohl or Tim etc etc.
Its game after game at home, huge gaps, square pegs in round holes, poor performances, disjointed.
Subs tonight were horrific
Its Dyche levels of tactics atm at home. Its Dyche levels of performances. 2 months without a home win.
Nothing to do with the home stadium, all to do with a safety first manager game after game after game setting the team up wrong at home.
Utd next. Don't think anyone will be putting 50p on a home win again
We wouldn't, because we have absolutely zero quality in the box. Plenty of huff and puff, but no edge.If we played with the energy and intent we showed with 10 men all game we’d have walked all over them
Mykolenko, Gana, both centre forwards and JOB at right back - fix them and we have a teamSuch a sht performance in the end. Have to accept our limits. Nothing to do with playing at home. They're just limited players.
