Went the match, won't regurgitate what others have said. Just that Beto has the movement of :

Watching him live it's stark to see his lack of positional awareness, notwithstanding the service to him, he is just so one dimensional, and even that dimension is crap.will

Yet another waste of money to join the increasing litany of duds. It's just a monumental failure in failing to see how bad Beto (and others) actually are. So much for the exhaustive scouting network, in depth player reports, the manager's input - all culminating in signing a player who it is patently obvious to everyone is not going to succeed. Other clubs manage to find competent strikers, but oh no, not us, I'm beginning to think we never will.

I gave it to Jimmy ,what the hell is Moyes on ? A blind man and his dog could see Jake struggle ,he might have told Jack to play as he wants ,with freedom but he has certainly coached the rest to just look for Jack who then takes on as many players as he can until he loses the ball .
In the event they can't find Jack then -plan B -give it to Illi who then takes on as many players as he can find before losing the ball .
In the next pre match presser someone should ask Moyes outright who is coaching them to play that way .
Then ask him why he plays two out wide who are so one footed that they need to stop and turn almost every time they manage a cross .
Lastly ask him why Pickford belts the ball up to Beto for it to come straight back at us after asking why the hell is he on the pitch ,he is limited as we all know but he is also out of confidence and it seems to me they are trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear .just get the ball with him running on to it not with him having to control the ball .
He is still as stubborn as he was and will never change ,he is also really lacking tactically for a manager so long in the top flight .The man we should have was on the other bench last night but he turned us down .

Having Branthwaite back will make a big difference. We are very brittle at the back at the moment.
There's going to be hell to pay when Branthwaite comes back and probably slots in for Keane, because Keane will be on the bench and (although I didn't listen to comms or catch any clips via reddit this evening) when Beto is stinking the gaff out and Barry aint much better, there will certainly be shouts and thus temptation for Moyes to chuck Keane on much like a side up the east lancs do with 'slab head'*.

I've no idea how bad or one dimensional we were tonight, I still think the blend in CM is finding it's feet, D-Hall misses next game so there'll have to be a shuffle, (Is he the earliest 5 yellow card ban this season in 6 league games? thanks pgmol!)

Reading on here, seems Myko has lashed out at william hill, I mean paqueta - how close was it to this...

'cos he 'kin meant it!

How odd, Tarkowski first booking in game (24 minutes) they then get 4 bookings, and then we cop two, Myko on 87 and D-hall on 90.

Sounds like an early night was the best thing, radar wasn't far off after all. 8 points, 6 games, 3 home fixtures used up, a win and two draws.

Beto missed clear cut chances vs Villa, not least the fantastic ball played in by Garner that was harder to miss from than score. How bad was he last night? What miraculous misses did he deliver this time or is it undue and harsh critique?

We had one but wouldn’t pay him enough
DCL shows up what 2 clowns we have now
Got to change something up front try false 9

Looking on the bright side, I thought Dibling looked good when he came on.

Given KDH now has one match in the stands, might we see him get a start - will be interesting to see what the manager does there, might actually be a blessing in disguise if it forces us to mix things up a bit.

Unbelievably disappointing again... another 2 points dropped against a poor side at home.

No chance are we getting any result on Sunday if we play anything like we have done these last few games.

West ham are in a false position, and have some class players.

They are a good team in reality, and when they showed it…they looked tge better team.

Its no shock.

We just dont create enough when on top in games.

I feel we need that number 10 to be closer to the striker…..kdh is playing more like a box to box 8.
