Yes absolutely, I agree, but he's probably picked for his 'energy', which obviously is non-existant after about 20 minutes. This surely has to be the last game he starts now. Clearly won't be, but it should be. There are plenty of options even with a depleted squad, it all makes absolutely no sense selecting him or even using him at all.
