I can see what Moyes was trying to do playing them both but it really didnt work, and took quite a bit away from Charley’s game, as he was constantly moving inside where doucure was just often standing.

If we’re serious about moving forward as a football team and club, it’s time for Doucure to be phased out. Alcaraz has shown enough to get the 10 for the rest of the season.

Doucs has done a job over the years for us, and scored the odd big goal so he will always have by best wishes, but he’s on way too much money (not his fault at all) and truth be told he’s never been a good footballer and he is the cause of so many of our attacking phases breaking down, its a joke. He’s often the oppositions best defender, just because he can’t control a ball or pass properly 5 yards.
Ok, it's clear you don't like him, but "Doucoure was just often standing" is simply not true.

Decent result in reality.

I know they are down near us, but that squad is very good and they have played much better than result suggest.

What I noticed, was how good and organised & strong West Hams front 2 was, Bowen and Kudos ALWAYS won that out ball near the centrre circle in that 2nd half, every time they held it and allowed defence to come out and have a minute..

They could be a really good side if they keep all those players.

Add Bown and Kudos to us, we are pushing top 8.

I am genuinely happy with the progress under David Moyes, I was convinced that if Sean Dyche had remained as manager we would have been relegated this year. Like everyone I want to see wins and to be challenging for a trophy but as a club we have come a long way over the last few months, we are very fortunate that TFG took over and instigated the changes they have. I think if we had a centre forward who could score on a regular basis then we would be winning those drawn games but I understand, given the series of injuries we have had, why we don’t. While avoiding relegation isn’t and should never be counted as success for Everton Football Club we have dodged a bullet this year again. The test for TFG and David Moyes is not where we finish this year or how we do it, the test is “what improvements do they make next season”.

Hi all. It was my nephews 1st everton match against West ham on Saturday. He wanted the everton v West ham matchday pin badge to keep as memory of his 1st match, does anyone know if I could get one.

Thought we played very well first half but we lack quality in the wide areas so badly. Hardly one good cross. Then second half we were too scared to cross.

Picked this a little while back, record draws in a 38 game premier league season is 17. m city 93-94, sheff utd 93-94, southampton 94-95.

As it stands, we're on 13 draws, 9 games to go. We could level that record, maybe beat it, it's stood for over 30 years.
