There’s nothing better than walking upto the ground before hand. Get him to the Dixie Dean statue, grab yourself some beers from a local newsagent (if that’s your thing), go and stand by the Winslow pub, just stand in the street, nothing beats it in my own opinion. You can people watch, have a beer, and your boy will be able to soak in the atmosphere.

Also, the Winslow is right next door for a wee and you can head in there if you want and there’s also The Spellow 1 minute away. Black Horse is great if there’s weather is good because you can sit outside at the back but it’s also rammed at the bar everytime but again, just my opinion.

I could understand the Flip flop thing if it was the end of April / May but there are still loads of points to play for.
