I have to say I like what I’ve been seeing from Patterson the past two starts. He’s standing out to me for the right reasons. I see him making good stops and he’s got his head up to quickly press and attack. And he is definitely overlapping with his winger. If he continues like this, he’ll be a good RB until we bring in a stronger more proper one in the winter or summer. I see Patterson, O’Brien, Tarkowski, and Branthwaite as really solid.

The ball is the round orange thing lads…

Honestly have no idea what the plan is other than let them have the ball and then slowly plod along until we go backwards and pump a percentage ball towards Beto who has demostrated over the last couple of years that he absolutely cannot do anything with that gameplan. Another embarassing half of football to add to the collection.

I don't think the managerial instructions matter, we are just that terrible with advanced pressing. We have an ancient coaching team in all the main positions.

The stars have aligned in an extremely bad way and left us with a side full of players who either aren't ready or shouldn't be at the club.

We are definitely seeing why Moyes has refused to bring Dibling on in for Ndiaye throughout the season. Miles off it.

Moyes needs to be held accountable for signing off on a signing that he obviously doesn't want. Dibling is miles off it and looks like nothing of any note gets worked on with him. It's a carbon copy of Brentford.

May help if Dibling and any of the forwards were receiving passes in front of them on the deck.

Launching the ball or passing it to those with backs to goal is an abomination of tactical cluelessness.

Moyes masterclass today.

Do what you want with the tactics today. The team is crap and Dibling has been poor. If you want to delude yourself and pin it all on the manager then crack on. Fact is that we could have Ancelotti in the dugout today and it'd still be the same result.
