If Branthwaite is fit enough to be on the bench he should be starting. Everyone creaming themselves over Keane’s couple of acceptable performances against a crap Ipswich and a seriously depleted Newcastle who didn’t even have a striker available are deluding themselves. I expect Keane to be responsible for at least one goal for Fulham. Dyche really is clueless.

That's just not true though is it. A player can be uninjured but not fit enough to play 70/90 minutes. If his fitness levels aren't high enough, he won't be starting, it's fair enough really. Even though I'd take a one legged Branthwaite anyday over Keane personally
