I just think, obviously Howard organises, Jagielka organises and Neville does it further up the pitch. For some reason, in big games, he always seems to play well and becomes this tidy passing defensive shield.

Yeah, seems to keep all the players in position too. He's not the most talented of footballers, but we seem to win and play good football with it like this - there's no need for people to hate with no real reasoning.

I sometimes forget just how good Jagielka is when he's on his game.

This. The little lean on Wellbeck when through, the clearance off the line, and mostly the snuffing out of every intricate move they had around our box in 2nd half. He, almost single-handedly, forced them out wide to send crosses in.

God bless you Everton - the best laugh I've had at SAF after a game since City wiped the grin off his smug red chops last season. I truely hate Man Utd, the most loathsome club ever to grace the football world. And his sour grapes after the game insulting Everton's game play. Well, he is a bad loser, and thanks again for shoving it up his miserable ass tonight. I hope they have invested as much in their treatment table as they have RVP, I'm an Arsenal fan, so I know they'll be lucky to get ten games a season out of player on 200k a week turning thirty next year.

The worrying thing is also that Carrick's such a confidence player. How will it affect him getting raped in the first game by a mediocre player?

From Redcafe. So Carrick is a good player whose confidence is now shattered because the mediocre Fellaini raped him.

That lad obviously knows nothing about football, the clueless bell. I know a lot of good fans from both the Manchester clubs mind - the REAL fans no doubt.

Lads, Fellaini was beyond exceptional and stuff, but did anyone notice Jags' tackles and defending as a whole?

I mean... You know the game's going awesome for him when he smiles (and also your heart melts), like he did after the brilliant tackle on Kagawa . Distin was pretty poor though, hope he picks himself up, but I'd also like to see Johnny in there.

Anyway, great night. Even Phil Nevile was good! FFS!
