Not a shot on goal tonight ......Look who was missing and the replacements brought in.
KDH and Illy move us to an attacking unit, lose them and it blunts that approach.

A ray of sunshine you are..Not a shot on goal tonight ......
Which channel was that?A superb performance from start to finish against probably the best team in all of Europe.
If Dewsbury-Hall and Ndiaye had of been available, we'd have won.
Who else do you want him to bring on? Our bench is garbage. The fact McNeil is starting games says it all about our squad depth.
We have hd games where we didn’t even have a full bench.
There is noone he hasn’t brought on today that would have made a bit of difference.
Which again is likely down to our subs on the whole being absolute garbage. They don’t half like putting out rubbish stats.Just posting a stat that came up during the game tonight …
But it’s based on the whole season … it shows that he rarely changes the team during or between the games …
I know. I ve said this previously. We are far better when we play a fast counterattacking game. The real problem is that we play in a way that doesn't suit either striker. Neither oof the are hold up target men. Yet we persist in trying to lump it up to them to win header 30 yards away from their nearest teammate. It's idiotic.
Both Barry and Beto would do better running of the shoulder to latch on through balls, but we don't play that way. We slow the play down, make sure the defense is set and then pass back to Pickford to boot it into the stands.
Agreed.MOTD said that the referee said the foul on Barry was 'insignificant contact'.
In a word: CHEAT!
And a cheat operating VAR also.
Really, there is no chance when those kind of blatant things are not properly officiated on...
our best chance of getting something was keeping it at 1 nil and hoping for a set piece goal.I’m not disputing that. If we were 1-0 up we’d have 10 men behind the ball. We were 1-0 down and looked like we were holding on for dear life.
ThisDefensively we were sound, pen aside. We absolutely need full backs and a better striker in January though, we’re huffing and puffing too much in attack
Still, 10th going into Christmas and looking upwards is a marked improvement on the last few seasons
Yup.Cheated out of a second half penalty. When you are up against that kind of officiating, you've got no chance...
7 of 9 on our bench had never started a Prem League match for us. Theres another rubbish stat.Which again is likely down to our subs on the whole being absolute garbage. They don’t half like putting out rubbish stats.
