..dreadful how he got turned by Mane in the 2nd half. He really is like a boat but I agree he wasn’t as bad as he has been.

Yeah his pace is his weakness, play him as a limited defender then I think he’s pretty decent, crying out for a pacey player to play along side him.

Coleman for me, double blocks at the back, shouting at everyone from both sides, actually carrying the ball forward to try and make something happen.

Bainesy proved he's still the best LB in the PL and I like the cut of DCL's jib. If he can add finishing to his game I think we have a young Harry Kane on our hands. Capt Jags provides leadership like no other and Tom Davies and Gana would walk into half the PL teams. Rooney again showed that he, along with Ronaldo and Messi, is absolutely world class.
Made up with a draw, I thought we were in for a tonking against a team that , in Salah, Firminho and Mane, have an attacking threat to beat anybody. That we kept them scoreless is a tribute to the development of young Keane in particular. I think he'll start for the mighty Three Lions in Russia.
All in all, a great derby; full of passion, intensity and quality. I think those who say Everton has become a team of irrelevance will have to recalibrate their thinking. Never have I been more proud of our brave, brave lads.

*disclaimer : I didn't watch one second of the game.

Pickford played well much improved performance from Keane, won't get a better chance of beating them, too negative from the start 4 full backs

..it means we are covering his deficiencies and invariably having to defend on the edge of our own box. It would’ve been much better had we spent the £25m on somebody more effective, but that’s what our DoF should’ve done.

Jags, Coleman, Pickford and Schneiderlin were all pretty good. Wayne, Davies, Bolasie were all pony and Keane was fairly hit and miss.

Very frustrating game to watch as has become the norm under Gravy Guzzler. How do you not use Walcott more against a garbage player like Klavan playing out of position. Tosun isolated as hell so can't really blame him.

Bottom line for me though is that our team is just not good enough. We need a total overhaul in the summer. There's very few players I'd actually keep.

Fully agree with you mate, it’s tragic the money we have spent and still need 3 of the back 4. No word of a lie I would quite happily sacrifice next season and Finish bottom half if it meant getting rid of the majority of these players and starting again.

MOTM for me was Yannick. Proving we got a bargain in getting him for only 27 million.

But there were so many who were close to Yannicks quality today. It's a pity we cannot make multiple votes

DCL for me.....that sitter notwithstanding.

Yes, Pickford kept us in the game with a couple of fine saves and Seamus was Seamus.....but it was DCL’s energy and aggression when he came on which turned the tide in our favour.

So disappointed. 3 or 4 sitters there. But again, we’ve waited till the 80th minute to show some belief. Not good enough.
