A starnge game.
For 75 minutes it was embarrassing the way they were bossing the game.
Then we have the last ten minutes where I have not seen Everton batter them so much since about 1986
Although I suspect that was because their legs went after Wednesday night’s efforts.
Funny thing is Khal, we go at them and make them play at a higher pace, then their legs go after about 50-55 mins, we gave them a 75 minute training session instead.
How hard is it to figure out that Solanke, Clyne, Ings would be massively short on fitness having hardly played a minute this season, or that the likes of Klavan wouldn't be able to last at any decent paced game, never mind the ones who played a full 90 against city like henderson, milner and a couple of others...
Subs changed the game. For me gana was the man that changed the momentum. DCL did okay, thought schneiderlin had his best game of the season.
Klopp offered us the points and we turned him down. All we had to do was for once this season just turn up for the whole game, but no, we had to play like the away team for 75mins
Yeah but we are quick to criticise, maybe we Should be as quick to acknowledge an improved performance.....even if still below what he can achieve.
