Guess will we find out tomorrow. Im expecting a rejection, lets hope the appeal goes well.

If we were paying £15m I wouldnt see a problem, but with it only being a loan, we could have issues here. The Home Office hate us, blates loads of kopites on that panel.

the home office must be terrified he does a runner on everton and his 30k a week wages and turns up on some building site in warrington working cash in hand.

damn right they should refuse the permit.

He does have a impressive CV:

  • Under 20 World cup winner.
  • Full international with Argentina.
  • Boca Juniors, Valencia, Atletico Madrid.
  • Champions League experience.
  • Cost around 14 million at such a young age.
The only problem for me is the loan deal. I still think that will be a problem. Jo and Anderson, for example, cost around 18-20 million each. It's a bit different to loaning someone.

Hopefully I'm wrong though, I really want this kid.

Loans and transfers are supposed to be viewed in the same regard apparently.

With the problems Banega has had at other clubs, and the price tag he would command, I'm glad we're going the try before you buy route. Too much of a risk otherwise, even if we reduce our chance of getting him.
