Check out the 2010/2011 prem table where we finished 7th and missed out on Europe and three teams below us in table got into Europe - Fulham, Stoke and relegated Birmingham
In 2013/2014, hull finished 16th and got into Europe
I think one of all my all time favourites was when Ipswich got relegated in 2001/2002 and qualified for Europe the following season as the winners of the fair play league
