Just noticed its time to apply for tickets, I'm going to apply, if I'm lucky enough to win a pair in the ballot like last year I do hope Man city reach the final, big payday that would be.

Doing the same for the Champions league, even bigger payday.

That's a very misleading assumption.
If they were in the PL their revenues would be doubled. After a few years they'd easily be able to get big money signings and give the PL a go.

I think they'd get relegated before they had time to find their feet, the pair of them are woeful. They should be winning every game of their season to prove mid table worth. Their opposition is pathetic yet they still drop lots of points.
 
They would probably stay up but only just and that Kris Boyd would never score the goals he does in the SPL if he moved up a level.

Who cares what it's called, shall we just win it and be done with it?
 
Its a lot more similar to the European Cup now.

Except the European cup rejects get a second chance.

There are more games now and the revenue restructuring are the two main differences. Hopefully it proves to be a significant difference.
