Jenny was a looker in her day, still not too bad now like....but I couldn't mount it for one simple reason - I'd not be able to get the image of Bill's contorted, fat, sweaty grid, whilst he was pumping away at it - out of my head.
Think the two key things you're missing are that:
a] Investing in is not the same as owning
b] £170m is nothing nowadays, and certainly not enough to continually invest in a football club as owner
Of course it is. Hell 20% of that would have had us in King's Dock. Even half of that, 75m, over the last ten years would have cleared our debt and got us a new stadium. Those two combine for an extra 10-20m a year easy which seems likely a fairly good long term effect to me. Yeah it's not City money but it would give us a better chance of CL and/or trophy for sure.Exactly as what people have said, £150million isnot enough to make a long term effect on a club like Everton
