I think I would buy finch farm and pay off the debt everton have and loan it back to the club for 0%

I would do this too ... on the condition that we establish an asking price for the club and I (or people I hire) are publicly announced as being a search party for new ownership and we are seeking a buyer at [insert price]. They'd probably refuse (which means essentially turning down around 5m a year or whatever it costs to service that debt) so then we can add that to the list.

Think the two key things you're missing are that:

a] Investing in is not the same as owning
b] £170m is nothing nowadays, and certainly not enough to continually invest in a football club as owner

I would buy a box but I wouldn't give them anything to pay off any debt. Why would I? They are a loss making company, have Elstone as CEO, and gave us that badge. We have a multi-millionaire Tesco owner as a director....he is the one who should be putting his money in.

If I won 300m though, I'd by the RS, sell all their players, sack the manager, and downsize Analfield to 15k seats which would be enough because I would ban non-scousers from attending
