According to Sky the suggestion is that Chelsea, Everton and Leicester providing the players for the squad is now a problem....
Players just not coming through the ‘top’ clubs.

Dowell was good with the ball and terrible without it. I think his future is in sort of a Silva role in a system like City's but whether he will ever be good enough to play in a team that uses someone like that is debatable to say the least. He's not a pure #10 I don't think which makes it hard to play him when he isn't getting tackles or interceptions in either.
