It's not about a left or right thing really, it's about common decency, and the Polish government are not especially nice to those who aren't white. The irony is, of course, that the xenophobia against Poles in Britain since Brexit is different shades of the same thing.

In view of your post why mention her political leanings, seem to me you want your cake etc.
