I'd stop going to watch Everton if Trump bought in mate! No joke.

Support from afar at best, I'm sure many will disagree, can see a fair few buggering off.

Trump only does things for Trump, he'd ruin our identity.

Utter tripe if he made us Prem champions new super ground no one would care were the money came from John Moores had interest in both clubs in the 1960's never bothered Evertonians one bit do you think the City fans or Chelsea fans bother no way they care one jot !
Silly point you make as usual yes a few moans at first then when top players came in the football was worth watching it would be soon forgotten, money talks you have a lot to learn you will not feed your family on principles!

Fortunately the degree to which I support Everton won't feed them.

I would care. You think Wimbledon fans would follow MK Dons if they were successful? Nah, move or no move, they had the identity ripped out of their club.

FC United of Manchester?

All fans who saw what they thought of as their club slipping away and bailed.

? That's not reforming a club it's progressing it to the top of football no way would the fans break away!

Yes at first uproar have you read Chelseas owners past the documentary on him was bad - if Trump or a rich owner bought us without interference the team won the Prem soon forgotten fans are fickle it's a no brainer - his golf course in Scotland is used is it not?

Abramovich is a bell, and minted af, he probably fits Chelsea's snobby identity quite well.
Donald Trump and Everton though? He is 1 million miles from the clubs identity.

He also wouldn't be able to not interfere. We'd be sponsored by Trump University and his kids would be on the board.

Some Evertonians would walk.

Even our board today get stick if you are saying any minted billionaire would be frowned upon I very much doubt it I'd it fetched success if it was like bad interference like you say then yes you have a point, but if it was just investment for success then I feel most fans would live with it!
I see your point with Trump though we would be troubled playing in Europe as he dislikes them lol

Nah mate, I'm sound with Mosh unless it comes out that he's been screwing people for years a la Trump.

You get the feeling that Moshiri is here for the right reasons. If he proves me wrong then I'll be disappointed.

So, it has to be going somewhere...the only ones benefitting are the private banks and corporations.

Employment isn't really benefitting as the jobs are zero hours, unprotected, low paid, generally so again it's corporations that benefit.

There will be a correlation between borrowing and low corporation tax revenues at the same time we have a creaking societal infrastructure that needs rebalancing and renewing.
