Someone needs to call them out on this absolute flannel that sharing their actual plan is somehow going to undermine the future negotiations.

As if what we will be seeking achieve is going to be some massive surprise when we get to Brussels.

"Do you want to retain full access to the single market then Mr Davis?"

"That would be telling, we're playing that one close to our chests"

"So yes then"

"You got me there Junker lad, was it that obvious?"

its hilarious they are using this as an excuse, i think they gambling on the public being stupid enough to accept it

my main worry is davis and more so fox leading these negotiations....

They won't. A position will be agreed, Davis and co will be given a script, a senior Civil Servant will effectively lead and Davis will do the niceties at the beginning and end of each meting he attends. He will not attend all of the meetings which will be innumerable and wide ranging, these will be led by suitable experts and senior Civil Servants.....Ronald Reagan didn't really run America.......

WAT?! who came with star wars then?!

So then why do the MP's want to know, because 'the What' will almost certainly be that obvious. What will not be so obvious is the 'Why' and the 'How' and that'll be the bit that they will not wish to reveal......

Let's be right, they'll want May & Co to go back on the bluster spouted at the Tory conference, where she basically said they'd be putting border control ahead of the economy.

They haven't got a clue what the 'why' and the 'how' is Pete, they can't even agree amongst themselves on what the 'red lines' should be.

The whole thing is a complete shambles.

Talking of Shambles.....

SCOTLAND should get a special Brexit deal, Sir Keir Starmer, Labour’s shadow Brexit secretary, has said as he made clear his party would not vote against Article 50, which triggers the start of Britain's two-year divorce from Brussels.

Appearing on the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme, Sir Keir said Labour wanted the UK to have the “best possible access to the single market, it should be in the customs union and there should be special arrangements for Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland”.

The Labour frontbencher did not elaborate on his comments but they come as Scottish Labour explores a federalist solution to Brexit that would allow Scotland to remain part of the European Union while staying part of the United Kingdom.

I think what you're trying to say is they shouldn't be allowed to have the English (EngNorIreWelsh?) Pound propping them up should they leave? But if you actually did leave, the value of the Pound will collapse - far more so than it already has - so it would be dragging them down instead. And then they could switch to the Euro and prop you up with discounted cross-border shopping. So, problem solved!

Okay mate, ask @Toffeelover who used the word.

I didn't call you a moron.

Oh I think he's deleted it, so don't worry about it.
Fair enough I just thought it was you sorted Toffelover is fine by me he did not call me a moron he implied you did as you have not no problem implying that that's up to you!
I'm not making judgements on the persons, but there have been some unintelligent points made, definitely.
yes I agree mainly from you, have you watched today's DP as yet or do you just know everything?
It's ok to have a point of view , and argue your case on this forum without ridicule in debate?
I don't mind even if it's in jest, but when another poster like toffelover indicted your classing me as a moron do you think that's clever?
I accept your explanation, but as a mod stated let's not get too personal disagree with me by all means in a decent way ok!
