Ireland seemingly will be in trouble with an estimated 1.2 billion euros export each week between the two countries about to disappear. There is real fear the borders will need to go back up.

not a political man myself, but I can''t think this is good news in any way

Off topic, but the blue here is about as centre as a right wing party gets. They're good for this country.
I vote National even though I lean left politically (although this wasn't always the case), its a centrist sensible party with good leadership behind the scenes in Bill English and co.
If Labour could cobble together any kind of cohesion and leadership my vote might change though.

With regards to this exit, I can't help but feel it is incredibly stupid.
I can claim a English passport and was planning to do so within the next few years, and was going to go over to Britain and work on that.
Having a British passport with the ability to travel and work across Europe on it was incredibly attractive.
In effect, the way I see it is that Britain has just traded relative stability and economic strength for what exactly? Any screw ups by the Government ( Tory or otherwise) will be magnified enormously.
Cannot help but feel that it has been a mistake, and one motivated by fear, ignorance and misinformation.

....and you THINK it's all gone down the toilet and will not recover. Nobody knows what's going to happen.
No, they don't. Because the Leave campaign never presented a manifesto, or contingency plan. No one knows what's going to happen because no-one's tried to actually plan for the future away from the EU.

This is the likes of Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage using fears, dishonesty and misinformation to gain political advantage for themselves. And you lot walked straight into their palms.

Don't you know all Leavers are sound economic experts? This one happens to be a professional on currency exchanges.
All those actual economists with degrees, PhD's, and years of experience? They don't know a thing (apparently).

Bank of England warned what would happen. It'll be worse.

Mark my words.

Your opinions are clouded based on your own experience in America.

This isn't America.
It wasn't even an opinion mate, genuinely asking and it has nothing to do with America. My question was about Scotland/NI wanting out of the UK, not the UK leaving the EU.

The irony of you having a black person in your avatar.

my dad's black mate

Spot on this.

You're absolutely right.
