Should we tell Joe that to get a WTO agreement requires convincing 170 other people to have a cup of tea?
Really just googled it Bruce massive organisation bigger than the EU just trade no polictical allegencies just trade?
Of course we are not allowed as an individual country to start trading as we are still tied to the EU which is why the Remoaners can not see the potential trade open to us on leaving notice the EU can decide to dip in to it!
Yet control our deals with its Polictical union!

Not while we are being dictated too by Brussels Bruce!

Each trade deal the WTO conducts takes on average 28 months to sign-off on. Nowt to do with Brussels, but it does require quite a diplomatic approach, so I'm glad we haven't been on an anti-charm offensive in recent months as those good relationships will be crucial :) I'm sure Boris is perfectly up to the job of not rubbing anyone up the wrong way.

It's Liam Fox who is dealing wit the WTO ATM Bruce!

I see the Canadian deal has been vetoed by one regional government........

Brussels is fuming after the Federation of Wallonia-Brussels, a parliament for Belgium’s French-speakers, voted last night to reject the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

What a circus......I expect it's all the fault of Brexit though......

I expect they'll be told to vote again......

That is what happens when all 27 have to say yes but do not, the agreement goes out of the window. This is one of the points for me why the EU needs to get grip and why we should out.

Not just the 27, Belgium cannot agree anything unless each of it's regional parliaments agrees first.....
