You are aware that immigration last year was far higher than in pre Brexit years?Well, for one, significant wage growth for the lowest paid in society over the last few years... Effectively unlimited immigration suppresses wages for entry level jobs. And it creates competition for housing for those who can least afford to compete. Low wages coupled with high housing costs are a bad combination...
EU membership was great for big businesses in the UK.. it suppressed lower-end wages to boost their profits... one of the reasons why they were so in favour of retaining membership...
Unlimited and uncontrolled immigration is also great for scummy landlords... inflated prices when housing supply is limited boosts their profits and influence.
Less competition for entry level jobs means wages should rise. Less competition for housing should mean that prices should fall... Prices haven't really come down too much yet, but they have at least stalled somewhat.
The last few years of international affairs have muddied the waters, though... No sensible, educated and informed Brexit voter thought great change and success would come overnight. It was always going to take a few difficult years. Covid and Ukraine has made things difficult for all European countries.
Show patience... Brexit will come good.
Also, "sensible, educated and informed Brexit voters" are pretty thin on the ground
